About Nulu:

Nulu addresses a global problem shared by 1.5 billion people: achieving English fluency. Our solution is to convert fresh news content into high-quality language-learning material and deliver it across mobile and social platforms for an engaging and sustainable experience.

About Eitan, Avi and David:

Eitan Geft is Nulu’s CEO and Language Guy. He spent over 10 years teaching English at universities in Asia and the U.S., most recently at Soka University in Orange County. Nulu is born out of his experience in the classroom — language students need a tool that is engaging, effective and can be used anytime and anywhere. He has a B.A. from Yeshiva University (Honors in Psychology) and an M.A. from Hunter College (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).

Avi Vince Stieglitz is Nulu’s President, Chairman and Business Guy. Before going to law school, Avi was the first employee hired at thestreet.com. After graduating from NYU Law School, he practiced corporate and real estate law for seven years. He “retired” from the law to start a real estate firm and open a sushi restaurant in NYC before joining forces with Eitan to revolutionize the way languages are learned around the globe. He has a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania (Honors in American History) and a J.D. from NYU School of Law.

David Allison is Nulu’s CTO and Technology Guy. Prior to Nulu, David was the CTO of BrightScope, a financial analytics company, where he oversaw a period of significant growth, hiring and managing a team of 20 software engineers, and architecting a SaaS platform used by millions of consumers in the U.S. He also co-founded and served as CTO of Minute7.com, a time tracking program used by thousands of QuickBooks users globally. His Nulu goal is to create an application that is used by hundreds of millions of people. He has a B.A. from U.C. Berkeley (Honors in Linguistics).
