Ben is a military officer in the United States Navy.  He has a passion for discovering and discussing new trends and ideas shaping society.

He has made numerous deployments overseas while attached to two carrier air wings, and flew combat missions over Afghanistan between Oct 2009 and Jan 2010.  He is currently a flight instructor in Miramar, CA.

Ben’s interest in innovation began during his senior year of college during an independent study with his mentor, CAPT Dan Moore.  While discussing the philosophy of John Boyd and other military strategists, Ben discovered a passion for getting to the bottom of why decisions were made the way they were.  He is a voracious reader, and enjoys discovering new realities about human behavior and innovative solutions.

He is intrigued by non-traditional collaborations, enjoys barefoot running, and has no idea what he wants to do when he grows up.

Mr. Weinrib is the founder and President of Dynamic Pumping Solutions, Inc which incorporates cutting edge technology to solve various military, mining, oil and commercial pumping issues. Currently the company is breaking into the medical world with new medical patents.

Furthermore Mr. Weinrib has recently Co-Founded and stands as the Managing Partner for Alternative Ballistics LP, which is bringing a new patented Less-than-Lethal technology to the military and law enforcement communities worldwide.

Mr. Weinrib was raised in San Diego with his older brother and two younger sisters.  Ben is very active in the non-profit world and currently serves on the board of The Seany Foundation, a San Diego based Pediatric Cancer Foundation and is a Big Brother through the Jewish Family Services.

As one of the Co-Founders of Disruptive Thinkers Mr. Weinrib has a passion for bringing together people of various backgrounds and skills in order to help increase the dialogue for innovation.

Nir Benzvi is an entrepreneur and brings years of experience in fundraising both in the non-profit and for profit worlds. He is also well experienced in growing early stage companies and has worked with incubators and accelerators platforms to incubate innovative ideas into applicative products.   He is the Co-Founder of Medicalse, a company that specializes in the supply and manufacture of medical lasers in the aesthetic, surgical and therapeutic medical fields. In addition, Nir has Co-founded two start-up companies, one in laser tissue welding , and the other in Laser hard tissue applications.

Nir’s further interests include the study of the future, aging, water desalination, sustainability, collaborative consumption, and social media.
